# Problems with the Flash/MYSQL tutorial

I’m trying to learn how to use Flash+PHP+MYSQL. I’m using Flash 8 to get this tutorial to work [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/flashphpxml\_integration2.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/flashphpxml_integration2.htm).

I’ve downloaded all the files and configured them. If I execute sites.php I get the variables on the page, with no errors (php and mysql are working fine), but when I try to load sites.swf I get no text inside the box. I’ve tried to export the movie with actionscript 1 and 2, and version 7 and 8 of flash, but no results.

Any idea of what is not working? I’ve tried the files locally, with an xammp installation. If you need to see the files I could upload them.
