Does anyone know how to make Flash MX process numbers or letters written in a textfield one by one? For example, if you write 2463 into a textfield, it would make a calculation like 2+4+6+3 and print the result on screen. ---

Thank you. 🙂 This helped a lot but I still need to get other things working… I need the program to divide numbers by 2, then check if the resulting number is a fraction or not. Like 4,5. I also need the program to multiply the number 2 a as many times as the counting value of the current number being calculated. Example: If there are five numbers 1 (0) 1 (1) 1 (2) 1 (3) 1 (4), it should calculate 2x0, 2x1, 2x2, 2x2x2 and 2x2x2x2 and then add them together. I bet no one can understand this message because of my lack of knowledge on english mathematic terms. 😛
