Hello forum, When I try to save a document by overwriting a file in Flash MX, sometimes it prompts and warns me by telling me, “Failed to save document.” What is the most common cause for this prompt to appear? -sincerely, Byronm ---

Howdy… I heard that that kind of error happend when the file is opened over the network drive… and heard that that is a big no-no… Is that the case??? ---

just select save as and save it under a new file name when i make flash movies i always save them in order name1.fla next time i make changes i save under name2.fla i end up with alot of flas but i always have a backup copy i suggest you try using this method sometimes files get corrupt trust me ive lost some data over the years and its not fun to start over from scratch Grim
