# Prototype vs jquery

I will be starting a project on [asp.net](http://asp.net) at my job and it will require a javascript library. I narrowed the options down to prototype and jquery. However I wanted to know if anyone had any specific issues while using any of them with [asp.net](http://asp.net) (as in issues regarding performance, conflicts etc.).
