# Pulumi now runs infrastructure programs on Bun

Pulumi now supports Bun as a full runtime, so infrastructure programs can run end-to-end with `runtime: bun` and no Node.js install in the mix.

Honestly I don’t know enough about infra tooling to judge, but I like the idea of fewer runtimes installed just to run one project. if Pulumi can make “runtime: bun” feel boring and predictable, that’s a nice quality-of-life win.

“runtime: bun” being boring is the whole appeal here. One less Node version manager dance during onboarding is a quiet win, even if the speed stuff ends up mostly vibes.
