# Queastion about backgrounds and preloaders

I have two queastions. firstly: is it a good idea to make my splash page, preloader and main page all seperate SWF’s and the link them together. (would help with file size also I am asking because I am having a problem with backgrounds on splash I want a white bg and same with preloader but on my main I want bg that is 100% hight with set width. and I dont know how to do that at the moment I’m using scene’s which is alright but bg is all messed up:()  
socondly: if seperate SWF’s a good Idea how can I make a preloader that will load my main page or atleast have the background changing.

lol I hope that makes sence its kinda hard to explain.😃
