# Question about (Extrude) a shape

Hi there  
I used to modify a shape by clicked on the shape edge point and move it, but I watched a tutorial from (Cartoon Smart) and they had clicked on the edge point and move it without change it’s place, like they (extrude) it and make a new part from the shape, how did they do it???
