I am new to the action script stuff… but i was wondering how to do this. When a button is pressed it loads text to the other side of a page with a scrollbar… and if u press a different button say news because i am trying to make a flash website… it will bring up news on the right hand side and then when contact is clicked your contact information will be brought up on the right side instead of the news. Thanks

The scrollbar component can only hold text, not images.

Under your Component Inspector\>Scroll Content, you can add the name of a MC which has a picture in it. Although I think you need to give it a linkage name…this is in mx04, I have no idea if it’s possible in mx, never seen that version.

In MX or MX 04?
Precise questions & good details = fast answer.
Adam, you’re mixing scollpane & scrollbar, no?
jw, you can set up a clip with an empty place holder clip for images, a textfield with scrollbar, load everything in, and then set the whole thing as scrollcontent for a scrollpane 😃
enuff scroll?
