# Question on "Creating a Platform Game"

I need some help getting actionscript to work. The code is from  
[http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/platform\_game.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/platform_game.htm)  
I found that the sum of the snippets on page 1 of the tutorial don’t match the total code that is provided in the middle of page 2. Also when I tried to run the total code on page 2, it displayed these errors:

[FONT=Courier New] **Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Layer 1, frame=1:Line 7: Statement block must be terminated by ‘}’  
onClipEvent (enterFrame) { [/FONT]  
[FONT=Courier New] **Error** Scene=Scene 1, layer=Layer 1, frame=1:Line 63: Syntax error.[/FONT]  
[FONT=Courier New]Total ActionScript Errors: 2 Reported Errors: 2[/FONT]

Any advice is greatly appreciated.  
Also if anyone knows the email address of the author, nathan stockton, I’d appreciate that as well.
