# Question on Kirupa Creating the the Shine Effect Tutorial

Hi all, I am a newbie to Flash and a newbie to this Forum and was wondering if somebody could answer my question or direct me to the appropriate place for an answer.

I followed this shine tutorial [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/shine.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/shine.htm)  
and had some questions as far as applying this tutorial to the example file provided or to my file.

1. There is a bottle in the example swf file, lets say I wanted to use an image that I made in photoshop, how can I make a shape of this in FLASH as opposed to the rectangle.

2. How do I speed up the tween? Do I just make the fps shorter?

3. In the prodided swf file, it seems as if the bottle glows once the shine passes through, I did not see how to do this in the tutorial.
