# Question on Logs

Hey guys, doing my final exam review and I forgot some of this stuff. The problem is (3x+1)^(3/4)=27. So once i take a log base (3x + 1), the equation reads:

(3/4) = log base (3x+1) of 27

I’m lost, any one care to shine some light on this subject?
