# Question: Wireless + PDA

Ok, I finally won an auction on ebay

if you read, it says:  
_“Also included in this Auction is a PCMCIA/External battery Expansion Pack. This not only allows you to install a Laptop PCMCIA Wireless network card (not included) to connect to the internet but also has a battery as well. This will double you battery life thus allowing you to use this unit longer between charges.”_

Now, does this mean I can buy a PCMCIA card that they use for laptops, and use it for the internet?

And what I want to do, is try to find unprotected WAP in my area, as well as in places like McDonalds by my house.

My friend said for some reason I can’t do this, but Im pretty sure I can… correct??
