# Question with distorting movie clips

I am trying to distort a movie clip with free transform and the option is greyed out. I dunno how to fix this. any help?

Uh, is your layer locked? Maybe post the .fla?

okay. here is the fla.  
the layer isn’t locked.  
I can’t distort any of the movie clips.

here is more info…  
it was a graphic (because the tween put it in a graphic) but i changed it in the library and in all the keyframes to a movie clip.

I don’t think this is the problem though,  
because i start a new flash movie, make a movie clip from a square and I can’t distort it.

can someone please help with this? I don’t understand why I can’t distort movieclip symbols.

any and all of the movie clips. i can’t distort any movie clips in flash 8 for some reason? even when I start a new project.
