i just went through this tutorial on swapDepths ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/swapdepth.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/actionscript/swapdepth.htm)) to try to apply it to a project i’m working on. So far, it’s working nicely, except i’m trying to keep the movieclips i’ve attached it to in one layer. i.e. i have 2 movieclips that swapDepth using the above method, and i have design elements in layers above it. when the swapDepth happens, the MC’s move above all other layers in the animation. is there a way to confine the swapDepth clips to only work within their own layer?

thank you in advance for any info.
