guys… you know the scroller tutorial? -

i’ve made it, it works… but!

BUT… its made for flash MX, is there anyway i can configure it so that people with the flash4/5 player can use it? The reason im asking this is because in places like universities, we arent allowed to install anything. So if there is a way i could somehow make it work on the older versions, please do let me know

Sandeep
P.S- I’ve tried exporting it in older formats which is not possible.

You can’t since it makes use of a component and the loadVars object, which are exclusively Flash MX. With Flash 5, your best bet is at [www.ultrashock.com](http://www.ultrashock.com) a fla called OS scroller or something like that. A real beauty. And [http://www.romiglia.com/esenciales/index.html](http://www.romiglia.com/esenciales/index.html) has Flash 5 components.

Good luck.
