so my employer was giving me unpaid training, which was stupid as it was, but i accepted, then i worked a total of 7 hours (in 2 days) and i had only been taught for about 20-25 minutes, the rest was all “practice”, so i asked her today when my training was going to be over and she said i will see how you do today, which she is known for giving u a false sense of security like that, so i said “well i dont want to work for free any more” and she said “what” and then i replied, “i’ve worked here for 7 hours and you have only taught me 25 minutes worth of stuff” and she said “thats part of the training” i said “yea…but i learned it in less than an hour” her: “you know what i dont like your attitude i dont want you working here” me: “okay, im sorry the rest of the world pays for training and you dont…i dont like working for free either” and at that point i walked out.
