Anyone know the code on how to make a explosion of particles of random shapes that explodes outwards?

Check the Kirupalab, there’s an example of a particles generator.

If you feel strong enough, you can pay a visit to [www.bit-101.com](http://www.bit-101.com) there’s a very nice Flash MX 2004 particle class. concerning the random shape thing, you could have random polygons, that shouldn’t be too difficult 🙂

I made a little fireworks script that might involve what you want. It is very controllable, you can set the inner radius, outer radius, blast strength, distance from target to explode at, … You can see it here: [http://www.voetsjoeba.com/experiments/fireworks.html](http://www.voetsjoeba.com/experiments/fireworks.html) 🙂
