hi,  
i am wondering if the “Flash 5” tutorials can also be used with Flash MX 2004? that sounds a little silly, however, it doesn’t seem too far-fetched to me that flash would be backwards compatible!

i am trying to do the “Random Letter Cycling 2.0” tut located [here](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/randomlettercycling2.htm) , and it is behaving all screwy-like…the tutorial seems simple enough, i don’t know how i’m manging to have all sorts of trouble with it! =^\_^=
