how do you do these animations that you see on websites such as [www.rayoflight.net](http://www.rayoflight.net)

the ones that you can see under spring summer fall winter…

got any ideas?

We were just discussing rayoflight and the nice new look of the effect. As of yet, I’ve not seen a tutorial on that new version. I have however writen a tutorial on the old version, called “rayoflight revisited”. It can be found in the Kirupa tutorials somewhere, but you can see it directly at my site.

yea… ive tried that tutorial … many times…

but like you say… its not that hard… (well it was)… it just takes A LOT of time…

let me know if and when the tutorial for the new version comes out… i’ll keep a look out too

You tried MY tutorial?? and you didn’t think it was easy… ok. please feedback. Anything I can do to make it easier. Do you think that animated swf’s of some of the tougher actions, like drawing the gradient fills, would help?
