# Read entire path of file upload (FF3/IE8)

Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 8 no longer allows you to read the entire path of an \<INPUT TYPE=“file” /\> on the user’s harddrive. My [video broadcasting](http://www.veetle.com) website requires the full path. What would be the easiest way to work around this? Flash?
