# Read image dimensions in Flash?

Anyone know if there is a way to read the the dimensions of an image file and display in a text field? One step further… does anyone know if there is a way to load image dimensions from an image copied to the clipboard?

I’m basically looking for a way to measure the dimensions of images that are displayed on the screen, without using a pixel ruler. Any ideas?
