# Reading data crossdomain.xml on https

Hello,

I have a swf on site A and i want to read data on site B, which has a valid crossdomain.xml (with \*) both on https. I can see in the chrome tab that it makes the request, but then i call a js to display results in the browser i don’t see the answer. any idea why?

I have also tried to read from 3-4 other sites on http and only in one website i saw the results in the browser (via js), any idea why? the crossdomain.xml were similar…(this was for testing/debugging). I’m new at flash.
