# Really stuck with flashvars

I know it’s something really stupid, because i’ve done this before…and it worked.

this is what i use to show the swf file:

in flash i use this to call te variable:

```auto

pathToPics=_root.link;

```

Then i try to check if it has worked by making a dinamic text field but all i see is “undefined”.

I hope someone can help me 🙂
