About 2 months ago I purchased a set of speakers from amazon that came with a mail-in rebate. you may recall [this thread](http://kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=85186&highlight=5.1+speaker) I had put up about it…

well apparently, I received an email from logitech a few days ago, saying

> You are receiving this notification because you have not complied with the terms of the offer due to the following reasons:
> The purchase was made before or after this rebate offer.

I don’t get it. The rebate form said “Your purchase of the Logitech product listed above must be made between January 31, 2005 and February 13, 2005 at [Amazon.com](http://Amazon.com)”, and according to my [Amazon.com](http://Amazon.com) invoice my order was placed on February 12, 2005.
However, it did say that it was shipped on Feb 15, 2005.

When I purchased should be when I placed the order, meaning I made the promotion period, right? I’m about to email them with copies of the rebate form and my invoice I sent, but before that I thought I’d better check that I was in the right.
