# Rebuilding my site, want advice

Having read what my site will have what do you think I should do framework-wise?
\*I know the most about phpBB and would be able to easily build it, so it’s my default. I’d be using it strictly as a CMS, not a forum. I’m just wondering if there’s something better

Wordpress gets my vote.
There is probably a plugin for SVN support so I would look it up as I’m guessing you use SVN or some type of repos for your version control.

Yep. If wordpress has a SVN plugin that’d be epic. I’ll look into that.

+1 for wordpress, ditto the reasoning.
+20 for ExpressionEngine w/CodeIgniter. Expression engine is just as awesome as Wordpress in many aspects, but is now based entirely on CodeIgniter core-code…which means it’s now much easier to extend/modify/etc.

If you’re not stuck on PHP or SVN, a Python solution might be very easy to integrate with [Bazaar](http://bazaar-vcs.org/), a distributed, git-like SCM that’s written in Python. You could probably do some cool things that way.

Every wordpress site i’ve seen has been fairly well done with minimal effort. +1
