# Record ball speed to display in statistics:

I want to record the highest xspeed the ball reaches to display in the statistics at the end of the game:

the ball movieclip is called **ball**  
the speed i want to record is called **xspeed**  
the text variable name is called **statistics**

can anyone help me???
