Hi, I’m hoping someone might be able to help me with my problem.

I have a movieclip(MC\_2) nested inside another movieclip(MC\_1). MC\_1 is on the first frame of my main timeline. My actionscript is also on the first frame of my main timeline on its own layer.

My basic problem is that I can’t seem to reference buttons in MC\_2 if they are not on frame 1. I have also tried adding the code to the button but that doesn’t work either. Is this something to do with the buttons not existing when the script is executed?

Can anyone help me with this?

Any help is much appreciated.
