Hi guys. It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I’ve come up against a brickwall.

I have a flash remoting app that works great in an exe or a swf run off my desktop. BUT, if I put it in an html file (and run it off my desktop or wherever) it doesn’t connect.

Here are the errors (with IP #s changed to “#” to keep that bit secret-- my client is a large corporation and they are very sensitive about that kind of thing):

ConnectString: “http://##.##.###.##/flashservices/gateway”

Status (object #2)
…code: “NetConnection.Connect.Failed”
…level: “error”

Then of course my next call to that connection doesn’t get through. Any ideas! Help! ![](http://forum.kirupa.com/uploads/kirupa/798/c985a958819d8917.gif)
