# removeChild() and timeline

Howdy All,

I have a MC on the stage that on the 30th frame traces a message. I use removeChild() and the MC is no longer visible, but it still seems to be running the timeline because the message continues to get traced. Is there something additional I need to do to completely destroy a MC?
