# Removing E-Mail Activation for New Registrants

Hey everyone,  
I am wondering what you all think about the idea of stopping the e-mail validation during registration?

The reason I ask is that almost all the free e-mail services send the forum activation letter to a spam folder, and I get quite a number of e-mails from people who can’t post because they did not receive their membership activation e-mail.
