# Rendering text as HTML frustrated and desperate for help

I must not be getting something about this render as HTML thing . I’ve dropped a dynamic text box on to a layer and pasted text into it. But even after clicking the render as HTML option it wont parse the HTML. Render whatever . But basically I cant make a website with links in text and stuff if this wont work. The text is Tahoma. Is that a problem?

its for a project. Eventually I’m gonna need to get into scripting. so clearly I have to get past the basics first.

None of the tags I used get rendered like \<B\> or \<A href =" … etc\</\>
