# Rentaway.pro - is this a scam?

I recently saw an ad for a apartment in Uppsala, Sweden. I contacted the advertiser and the person looking to rent out her apartment is not currently living in Sweden and wants to use a 3rd party company to handle the payment/keys/etc. So she gave me this address to the company, [http://rentaway.pro](http://rentaway.pro).

This, along with some things she wrote in the email raised some red flags for me. I can’t find this company via google, and I can’t find anyone who’s ever used the company or can provide any information on it.

Is this a scam? Since I am apparently to give this company 2 months rent advance, plus 1 month deposit without receiving any keys or looking at the apartment. Rentaway.pro supposedly sends the keys once the payment is done, and then I can return the keys if I’m not happy with the apartment and get a refund, if not they will send the money to the landlord and I can keep renting it). Seems like a sensible escrow service except that I can’t find anything on this rentaway.pro company.

So should I trust her or not?
