So Apple released movies to Canada and the UK today… so I thought I’d try it out… And to my surprise, its actually really convenient, and I can totally see myself hitting up movie rentals more and more as their collection grows and grows. :chinaman: But… the browse utility hasn’t been rewritten for showing videos, looks like they just molested the music browse function into showing videos titles ---

About freaking time. I’ve been waiting for this ever since I got my touch. I’ll comment once I’ve looked around a bit. Hey they actually have some pretty decent movies on there. The browse does suck balls though; you can’t even select movies from the ‘album’ pane. ---

I agree!! BUt its all about the renting!! and not having to go anywhere to watch a wiiiiide variety of movies at your disposal! ---

And, correct me if I’m wrong but, I think itunes doesn’t offer anything like that currently. I also should note that I work part time at a video store so renting is just a matter of grabbing something on my way out. ---

I only buy _new_ DVDs if I really really really enjoyed the movie, for example, I bought the Superbad 2 disc special edition. ---

I actually never really watch the special features, so this would probably be a good option for me (never tried it yet though). Something like this is good though because if you want a movie you can just browse and select a movie, then watch it. No need to drive and waste gas or deal with lines. ---

Sounds nice. 4USD to rent a movie thats pretty nice… (its 2.50USD down the street though). Too bad I live less than 100 feet from a Family Video (its basically the same thing as Block Buster). ---

Its STILL not true HD. YouTube, Metacafe are sometimes offering “HIGH QUALITY” captures with the video, it sucks as its not HD, this is not HD. But the new Sony Vaio BD kits coming out with those laptops… the monitors will be HD Screens so true BD will be generated from the Quad SLi, Quad Core, HD Monitor LCD and the BD Rom… bye bye Apple. ---

Um, until people actually buy those new vaio’s (enough to rival itune’s user base) itunes movie store isn’t going anywhere. and where is this “true HD” content supposed to come from anyways? ---

True HD on a PC HDMI Support Card with Tru Buffering and HD 1080i resolution. Tri Trillion and Anti Liasing … hard on coming… LCD HD ready monitor which supports the colors And a quad kit SLI, four graphics cards and the BD rom… Thats raw quality HD for a computer. Otherwise, PS3+BD+HD1080iTV ---
