# Resizable scrollbar with dynamic text?

Hello, again i’m new to Flash…hope this is an OK question…😃

Is it possible to make a scrollbar where the “scrollable area” resizes (or changes ratio?) depending on the amount of dynamic text is added (from an external text/HTML file). If so, how can this be done?

I’m making a website where the owners _only_ want to periodically update the external text file and DO NOT want to screw around with changing scrollarea heights, enlarging MC’s etc.

I stumbled across this :

To my knowledge, it looks like it might be dynamically changing the ratio’s of the scrolling area? I’m trying to pick it apart and figure it out…

Is this possible?
