# Retainer

Do you guys usually get retainers on your sites before you start working? I had a client ask me if I wanted one, and I said that I’d have to have some more information about the site before it was necessary (to stall for time). It is going to be a fairly big project. If yes, how much (what % of the final appx) should it be?
