# Reversing video- in post or actionscript?

Hello all,

I have a preloader that was given to me in quicktime format and once the .swf has loaded, I’d like the preloader video to reverse rather than fade out.

There are two ways I’ve found so far to do this:

1. reverse the video in quicktime or final cut and jst import the whole video (this sucks since it will add major file size).

2. the method mentioned in this thread which I can’t get to work: [LINK](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11427&highlight=reverse+playback)

Is there some simple way to reverse a video within flash without complex actionscripting? Like manually reversing keyframes in the timeline? (the video is an MC BTW).

Thanks any help is much appreciated…
