As part of explaining easing functions in JavaScript, I did a near-direct port of Robert Penner’s easing functions and put them into a JS form that doesn’t have a dependence on a third party library.

**Example**
A [simple example](http://www.kirupa.com/snippets/examples/circle_sliding_canvas_easing_function.htm) using one of these functions to make (what else?) a blue circle slide from end of the page to the other.

**The Functions**

Let me know if you run into any issues with them. I am about half-way through writing a tutorial on this, and I’ll update this post once I have it created.

Cheers,
