# Rpg character appearance variables

I, and several other geeks, are currently making an rpg, and i just want to ask a small question before i do half the game wrong. this is the first rpg i’ve worked on that lets you customize your character. now, should i store info like hair color and gender in a shared object, and then load it in the game scene to make the character look right?
