as a wallpaper in your os ?

I don’t think so… I tried such a stuff with a renderd Wallpaper, it was a pretty cool program, but it slowed everything down…

I haven’t tried swf’s yet, but I used to make gif’s and using them as backgrounds…

Just make a small gif with 2 or so flakes falling, then choose it as a wallpaper nad make sure “side by side” is on. NOT stretch 😛

There are a few programs out there that will make screen savers from your swf’s. I can’t for the life of me think of any now, but a search using google should produce some results.

well… why wouldnt you do this? if you’re just trying to do something for windows… make a SFW… then make an HTML with the sfw… and use active desktop to display it as the background…
