just bought a new monitor today… but there’s a problem in displaying the screen.
the sides of the screen gets cut off… i have to scroll to the side to view the part which can’t be seen. it’s like it’s too long to display.
i’m using 1440x900 resolution, which is the optimal resolution of the monitor…
any idea what’s wrong?

when i check the info on the on-screen menu (the menu using the buttons on the monitor),
the following info is displayed:
**Digital
60.0kHz 60Hz PP
1280x960**
why is that 1280x960, when i am setting it to 1440x900???
