# Save Flash data locally, from locally running .swf

I want a user running a Flash game on his machine (not from a server) to be able to save some game data locally.

From what I’ve read, there still isn’t any way to do this, but I thought I’d throw it out there in case anyone knows a sneaky xml or php work around.
