# Saving variables to txt file?!?

hi all

just wandering if anyone knows how to send data (text based) to a txt file on server? basically ive got this input txt filed, and i wanted the user to submit thier name lets say, but i didnt want it to be through means of a php mailer (sending to email), this is beacause i want then to have the txt file being shown back on flash mx. i would prob do this by loading the external txt file.

anyone got any ideas

p.s i will need to do this in php not cgi as i dont support this :asleep:
