I also accidentally walked into a room where they were discussing āDiversity and Racial Issuesā, and before I could walk out of the room of 10 people, I was handed a name tag and a free pen. Of course I stayed (didnāt speak though)ā¦I got a free pen š \*\*
Hahaā¦ You either went into an OME (office of minority education) or BSU (Black student Union) thingie.
What floor in baker? Have you been to Simmons yet? Thatās where Iām going to live.

We got the whole diversity/āno means noā thing. It was kinda funny, they were acting out a āno means noā skit, and when they were going up to a room, the guy accidentally fell on stage in front of a good 600 people. So in the middle of them trying to do a serious skit, everybody busts out laughing.
The diversity was the best, we got this awesome questionaire.
1). Are you afraid when you see someone drive by you in a truck with a gun rack?
2). When you see an African American driving an expensive car, do you think he must have stolen it?
3). When you see a group of people of another race walking towards you on the street, do you often turn around and go the other way?
Those are the only ones I remember, but that was the best class Iāve ever had.

Whatās with everyone just registering now for classes? I know we register in the spring for the fall semster, freshmen can register in the summer.

I went to the āA Conversation about Race and Ethnicityā program, and Iām temporarily in the 3rd floor of Baker. Theyāll move me and everyone else in two days into another area of Baker though š
I havenāt been to Simmons, but it looks pretty cool from the outside - Iām staring at it right now while writing this.

man, I miss MIT so much. Baker 3rd floorā¦ hahaā¦ Iāve had lots of fun in that floorā¦ brings back memories.
