# Screen res problem

Someone was on my old computer and now she is screwed with spyware/adware.

I am to lazy to format at the moment.

Currently downloading a few programs to clean it.

But it has a new problem…  
It wont go to 1024x768 it just turns on and off.  
Monitor works fine at 800x600  
I have it set to 1280x960 as I type this.

This old monitor looks a little foggy at 1280x960 hence why I want the 1024x768 back.

I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them…

Any ideas as to what this might be.

Video Card  
Monitor

I have never had or heard or this problem before.
