# Scrollbar component

I have a dynamic textfield that gets it’s content from an XML file. I was using the built-in scrollbar component by placing it in the movie clip that contains the text field. I used the parameters panel to assign it to the text field. I publish the SWF and the scrollbar works fine. I then publish it and it works fine. I view it in my browser (IE 6 & FF) and everything still works fine.

I then upload it to our server and test it in the same 2 browsers. The scrollbar isn’t functional. It just shows up as a gray bar with no arrows or scroll handle. I upload it to another sever - same thing happens.

I then try adding the component with ActionScript. Same thing happens - it works fine locally, but has zero functionality when running on either server.

What the holy hell could the problem be? Has anyone else encountered anything like this?
