# Scrolling Technique?

I am trying to find an example of a scrolling technique that I would like to apply to an animation I am doing. I simply wish to have a left arrow and a right arrow and when it is on the “onMouseOver” state I would like it to move an object to the left and right then stop when the mouse is off.

Pardon the vagueness but I just haven’t been able to find an example of this. This is not a text scroll I’m looking for; I will actually be scrolling one big bitmap image. I guess the closest thing would be a scrolling backround that you can start, stop & contol.
