# Scrolling text class help

Oks, so i am completely stuck and not sure what to do:  
import flash.filters.BlurFilter;  
class pirateandy.scroller.BlurScroll {  
public function startScroll(mc\_scroll\_parent:MovieClip,  
mc\_scroll:TextField, mc\_slider:MovieClip, mc\_slider\_x:Number,  
mc\_slider\_y:Number) {  
var blur:BlurFilter = new BlurFilter(1, 4, 6);  
mc\_slider.onPress = function() {  
startDrag(this, false, 0, 0, mc\_slider\_x, mc\_slider\_y);  
mc\_scroll\_parent.filters = [blur];  
mc\_scroll\_parent.onEnterFrame = function() {  
mc\_scroll\_parent.mc\_scroll.scroll++;

};  
};

mc\_slider.onRelease = function() {  
this.stopDrag();  
mc\_scroll\_parent.filters = [];

oks so i know that the scrollbar will only scroll one way, but thats  
not my problem, my problem is how do i actually get it freaking scroll.  
help plz
