I recently learned about scrollRect. Can anyone tell me how efficient it is? by this i mean i have a huge background\_mc and use a stage sized rectangle as the scrollRect to scan the insides of that movie Clip. (like a vcam i guess). Since it only renders the rectangle area , is it safe to say it doesn’t matter how large “background\_mc” is ? or is it better to dynamically add portions to the background when its just outside the stage.

Thanks
