Hi Kirupians, I was thinking, maybe it would be handy to have a tag that shows the search button which links to the search page, so that members who wish to redirect someone to the search page can just type the tag to show the search button. Maybe something like :\*\*search: ? Which will then change into [\*\*url=http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/search.php?s=][\*\*img][http://www.kirupaforum.com/images/search\_top.gif[/img]](http://www.kirupaforum.com/images/search_top.gif%5B/img%5D), resulting in [![](http://www.kirupaforum.com/images/search_top.gif)](http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/search.php?s=). Just an idea 🙂 ---

And while you’re at it, would it be possible to make text links visible somehow all the time, anything really like colorchange, or a dotted underline CSS or whatever…? ---

oh hehe - I was referring to eyez’s orange color issue. I haven’t touched the search tag issue yet. I’ll do that in a few hours after I finish some of the other work I am working on 🙂 ---

hmm…that does seem like something interesting…not sure hehe. I’m just waiting for vBulletin 3 to be released 🙂 Maybe once I get that version configured and hacked, I may provide a guide to anyone interested in getting the forum configured the way this one is. …a few more months I am guessing :block: ---
