Hi Kirupians,

I was thinking, maybe it would be handy to have a tag that shows the search button which links to the search page, so that members who wish to redirect someone to the search page can just type the tag to show the search button.

Maybe something like :\*\*search: ? Which will then change into [\*\*url=http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/search.php?s=][\*\*img][http://www.kirupaforum.com/images/search\_top.gif[/img]](http://www.kirupaforum.com/images/search_top.gif%5B/img%5D), resulting in [![](http://www.kirupaforum.com/images/search_top.gif)](http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/search.php?s=).

Just an idea 🙂

cant you make vb codes without the closing tag? I mean if you’re not putting anything between [serch] and [/serch] why have the closing tag at all? I think the same would apply to the hijacking tag

no slashes at all. I know [AS.org](http://AS.org) has a [useastags] code which shoots out a brief explanation of using the as tags and it doesnt need a closing.
